Are you living with ITP?
The team at Pinpoint Patient Recruiting is searching for people who have been diagnosed with immune thrombocytopenia purpura (ITP) to participate in a 30-minute online survey. Researchers want to better understand the impact of ITP on people's daily routines as well as motivations for making treatment decisions.
You may be eligible to participate if:

you are 18-74 years old and were diagnosed with ITP more than one year ago.

your ITP was not caused by a medication/treatment or another medical condition.
Those who qualify for and complete the survey will receive a check for $65 as a thank you for participating.
*Please note, you must be a current resident of the US and 18 or older to qualify for and participate in this study. All information shared with Pinpoint will remain confidential.

What is the Immune Thrombocytopenia (ITP)?
Immune Thrombocytopenia (ITP), also called immune thrombocytopenic purpura, is an autoimmune condition in which the immune system mistakenly attacks and destroys platelets, the blood cells responsible for clotting. This leads to low platelet counts and can cause easy bruising, bleeding, and fatigue.
Why is ITP research important right now?
Treatment options for ITP have expanded in recent years, including thrombopoietin receptor agonists and newer oral therapies. Researchers are working to better understand how these options affect daily life and how patients make treatment decisions, so patient input directly shapes future care.
Is this a clinical trial or a treatment program?
No. This is a research survey, not a clinical trial and not a treatment program. It does not involve receiving any medication or medical treatment, and participation has no effect on your current care. The objective of this survey is to better understand the experiences of people living with ITP, including how it impacts their daily lives, relationships and interactions with healthcare providers. The survey may also include questions about your preferences when it comes to treatments, where you get information about new treatments and who is involved in helping with those treatment decisions.
Will my information be kept confidential?
Yes. All information shared as part of this survey is anonymized and is used only for research purposes.
How do I get paid?
We pay participants who complete an activity by mailing a check to them within 7-10 days of completing the activity.

Our research partner, ZS Associates, is conducting this survey on behalf of a global biopharmaceutical company.
Is my information safe?
We take privacy very seriously. Your information will be kept confidential and never shared without your prior permission (this includes not sharing with our research partner or the study sponsor).
